Israel
Several years ago while visiting Israel, we were introduced to Pastor Mazen who leads the Jerusalem Alliance Church in the Old City of Jerusalem. He was baptizing several people from the church in the Jordan River. We met several times that week, and it began a lasting relationship and a great blessing for us. Pastor Mazen is an Arab Christian who focuses ministry to children, widows, and those with many needs in the West Bank of Israel. We have had the opportunity to join some of his outreaches to children and widows from time to time. He recently held a children’s outreach and sent the following recap:
“We hosted a children’s event in the middle of January. We had 6 ministries working together. We wanted to honor God in our unity. We also wanted the children to get touched with the presence of God. Almost 500 people were there (350 children plus their parents) In the event we had different activities, rotating games, food, circus clowns, and worship. We also had a great theatre show about God’s love and salvation. Many children prayed in response to the show. There was lots of joy and happiness. We really praise God for this event. We also thank you so much for your love and support.”
We thank God for this ministry connection! We also thank you for your prayers and financial support that makes outreaches like this possible in many regions of the world to orphans, widows, and pastors.

Life-giving relationships are vital for our lives. Bessel van der Kolk, the founder and director of the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts, and Professor of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine said something to the effect of — The wounding happened in community, and the healing needs to happen in community.
I need other people to see me when I’ve never been seen.
I need other people to hear me when I’ve never been heard.
I need other people to accept me when I’ve never been accepted.
That can only happen in community.
One of the beautiful things our partnership with you and the ministries we support does is cultivate loving, life-giving, Spirit-filled community for children who have previously not been seen, heard, or accepted. Many children are experiencing healing in their hearts and are thriving today because of your love.

Myanmar
Last year we lost a hero of the faith — Peter Thang. In the face of difficult times, political unrest, Covid-19, and the challenges that are faced in a nation like Myanmar, even still they continue to be resilient. God has blessed their faithfulness.
Ground breaking has taken place on the Peter Thang Private School. Funding has already come in for the foundation and first two floors. This school will be where hundreds and thousands of children will receive world class education, meet Jesus, and go on to be world changers in Myanmar.

Nepal
This is an area where hundreds of children and widows are starving most of time. So we continue to meet them feeding and sharing the love of Christ. It is a great joy and blessing for us to help them and share Jesus through different activities. We are also teaching more than 200 children In the slum school now in two locations. Daily 150 children come to learn in the morning and more during the evening classes. We give them notebooks, food and schooling. We are also helping high school students now with notebooks and other school materials. Thanks for your prayers and support.

From time to time our faith in Christ, God our Father, Holy Spirit and eternity will be challenged by somebody or something. At times we may wonder if it’s all real.
