Hi Everyone!
Jesus was asked when did the people do these things to Him? He responded, “When you did it to one of the least of these, My brothers, you did it to Me.” v39. Who is Jesus referring to when he calls these people the least of these? Jesus is referring to people with a variety of needs. They include people who are hungry, thirsty, impoverished, sick, and imprisoned.
Our friends, Paul and Bhawana, in Kathmandu, Nepal, have dedicated their lives to feeding, clothing, nursing back to health, teaching, and encouraging the least. They travel to distant villages and the slums of Kathmandu to share the love of Christ. Occasionally, they send a note and pictures to show us what they are doing with the funds we send to them monthly. We want to share a little of that with you this month.
“The pictures are of our feeding the homeless kids and widows in place called Budha where many homeless kids and widows and people live with no proper place. Most of them beg on the street. Some men do shoe polishing and most of the children beg on street and steal wood and things. We are helping them and giving blessing through our food and love and care. Please continue pray for them.
The village ministry is in the remote village of Gorkha. We bring encouragement to believers who are suffering from persecution and have trouble with their faith. It was great to share and pray for those villagers and encourage the pastor. Please pray for those places because many people are hungry for the Word of God. They love God so much. Paul and Bhawana
Since we began our ministry in 1985, children, widows and pastors in very remote areas of the world have been our focus. Much has changed in the last 35 years in the world around us. But one thing remains—the least of these and their needs. We cannot meet all the needs of those in the countries we work in. But we are connected to leaders who do their best to share the Good News and love of Christ with those whom the Lord brings in their path. Paul and Bhawana and others we partnerwith seldom miss an opportunity to minister to those in need.
And you are a part of this ministry. Your prayers and financial support provide open doors for ministry, food, clothing, education, and encouragement in many areas. We are deeply grateful to you!
Once again, with love and gratitude,
Dennis and Robin
