Seeds of Hope in Nepal

Several years ago during a visit to Kathmandu, Nepal, we had a conversation with Paul and Bhawana about how children in the slums were not receiving an education because their parents could not pay the tuition at government schools. Street kids, mostly teens, fell into the same category. The result was plenty of free time to join gangs, beg for money, sell drugs, traffic in sex with foreign men, sniff glue, and experience hopeless lives. We started a school in the slum for a handful of children. The school was quickly over-crowded with children desiring to be educated, enjoying socializing with others, and seeds of hope were planted in their hearts.

A good meal for hungry children in the village.

Through a generous donation to our ministry, we were able to build a new school with two floors and living quarters for some of the teachers. Today the school serves hundreds of kids. This is what it looks like.

  • Reaching over 500 children with education.

  • Over 350 children attend morning and evening classes.

  • Some tuitions are paid at the government schools.

  • Meals are provided for 450-500 children in the school and on the street.

  • About 100 children are fed in a nearby village.

  • 12 orphan children are currently receiving daily care.

  • 50 families are receiving clean drinking water monthly.

Paul tells us, “We have different groups at school according to age, 4-6, 7-10,11-14. God is intervening in their hurting lives with our continued effort of food, teaching, counseling, praying and sharing about Jesus from the Bible. We are meeting some of their needs. Thank you so much for your support to make all these wonderful works of God happen.”

I’d like to invite you to join us for our annual Christmas Gifts Project, wherein a $5 donation provides a cap, blanket, shoes, or other meaningful gift and a meal during these Christmas outreaches. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful testimony of how the Lord works through ordinary people to accomplish His purposes. You make a difference!

Grateful as always,

Dennis and Robin

Andaman Islands

Raja preaching at Harvest Community Church

Raja, our partner in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, just finished his visit here in America. Many of you had the opportunity to visit with him as he joined us for our banquet in Green Bay, spent time with others in Indiana, preaching in churches, visiting with pastors, and met for coffee and dinner meetings. Raja ran hard here, and we are grateful for each of you taking time to be with us.

There is something special about having face-to-face time with our partners. This trip to America was important as we move forward with a big vision in the Islands. Currently, Going Global Inc. is the only support for this thriving ministry that includes:

  • Love Children’s Home, caring for 117 orphans.

  • Bible College started in 2020 with the vision of planting churches on all the inhabited Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Ten church planters are set to launch in 2023.

  • Evangelism focused on children, widows, thousands of people at the mobile Christmas outreaches, and more.

Thank you for sharing this BIG vision with us.

Cuba

Prayer in Cuba

Cuba is one of the most difficult places we serve. Our partner has a ministry that is focused on ministering to children, feeding the hungry, and sharing Jesus. Feed My Starving Children recently held a packing event in Green Bay, where many of you packed meals. We are able to partner with organizations like this to effectively serve areas like Cuba.

Food For Thought

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” Psalm 4:8

Have you ever struggled to find peace, where your mind was dwelling on challenges and confusion? David understood that, even down to being worried for his physical safety. Yet in the middle of the challenges and confusion we will have in life, the Lord offers a peace that transcends our understanding.

Prayer Requests

You can be an important part of our ministry by praying for us. Prayer is a weapon of warfare, and we covet your prayers. If you would like us to pray for you, e-mail your prayer requests to us. Please pray for the following:

We thank you, in advance, for praying for the following:

  • Your pastors and their families.

  • The work in Nepal, Cuba, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

  • 1000’s who will hear about Jesus with the Christmas Gifts Project.

Ministry Goal

“And their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.” Luke 24:31

We founded Going Global Inc. in 2007 with this ministry goal. It is still our heart today. Thank you for praying and partnering with us. Together, we can do a lot!
