Do you remember seeing back-to-school commercials or newspaper ads as Summer started to wind down? For many of us, it was a bittersweet reminder that the break was ending, but also a time filled with anticipation to see our friends and teachers again. For parents, it meant shopping for backpacks, lunch boxes, notebooks, folders, and pencils to get everything on the list.

At Going Global Inc., one of the ways we serve orphans is by supporting education. Back-to-school season is a poignant reminder of the importance of this work and the global impact your generosity is making. Research has shown that 83% of Christians will give their lives to Jesus between the ages of 4 and 14.

Going Global Inc. is called to reach children by helping our partners invite children to come to Jesus. Revelation 22:17 says, “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!' And let him who hears say, ‘Come!' Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” We are grateful for each of you and our global partners for being the bride of Christ that says to all people, young and old, “Come!”

Check out these stories of helping children, young adults, and ministers this time of year:

Myanmar

At Love Children’s Home and across the Love Network, 490 orphans are returning to school this year. Some of those who have graduated are now attending college. Peter Thang Private School is thriving in its third year, with enrollment now at 628 students. The same campus also hosts Disciple Bible College and Seminary, where twelve new freshmen have joined this year to be trained as future pastors and ministry leaders.

Andaman & Nicobar Islands

At Love Children’s Home in the islands, 98 orphans are going back to school. Thanks to your support, we continue to provide uniforms, textbooks, school supplies, and tuition—just as we have since the orphanage began. They already have a vision to return and serve the place where they grew up. Jeevan Jovi Bible College is also training local leaders to bring the gospel to every corner of the islands. This year, six young women from the orphanage, who graduated with honors, were accepted into universities in mainland India to study nursing.

Vietnam

In a poor village in Quang Ngai, families struggle to afford school for their children. Together, we are providing everything needed for 153 students from grades 1 to 9 to attend school this year. This support is opening new doors and changing lives. Pictured here is a children’s conference held for children before they receive their school supplies.

Cuba

Poder y Luz Bible School trains between 1,600 and 2,000 students each year through church-based locations across Cuba. We recently returned from a trip where we introduced a new leadership and discipleship tool called Pillars, developed by Joel Holm. We translated the entire set of videos and materials into Spanish, enabling pastors and ministry leaders throughout the country to better equip themselves to build strong, multi-generational churches. We are grateful to Pastor Betz Castro of Revelación Ministries in Green Bay for serving the ministry in Cuba. We are stronger because of these partnerships!

Your prayers and generosity are helping children return to school, empowering leaders, and fostering long-term transformation. Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference worldwide.

Israel Youth Camp

We are honored to support our partner who is ministering to Palestinian Christians.

Mazen, the guy with the big smile, is the pastor of a church located in the Old City of Jerusalem. His congregation is one of the most unique (and often forgotten) Christian communities in the world. They already face the difficult calling of reaching their Palestinian neighbors and caring for their church, and now they are doing so in the midst of an incredibly challenging season.

This summer, their weeklong youth camp was a powerful opportunity to share the love of Jesus with teenagers ages 13–18. The students went swimming, played games, and feasted like royalty, and most importantly, worshipped in the presence of God.

We’re reminded of the word given to the prophet in 2 Chronicles 20:17, “You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.”

Missions Thoughts from Dennis and Robin

Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me.” Mark 10:14

About 40 years ago, in Belize City, we began bringing Jesus to children and have never stopped. Now we partner with ministries worldwide to do the same thing. At Going Global Inc. 60% of all we do involves children. This newsletter is a testimony to some of the amazing things our partners are doing with children God has placed in their care. Enjoy!

Loving kids and that won’t stop!

Food For Thought

“Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.” Matthew 5:48 (Message)

God wants us to be like Him as we walk out the details of everyday life…kind, generous, loving, caring, forgiving, gentle.

You can be an essential part of our ministry by praying for us. Prayer is a powerful weapon, and we value your prayers. If you would like us to pray for you, please email your prayer requests to us. Here are some specifics to pray for:

We thank you in advance for praying for the following:

  • Pray for your pastor and family.

  • Pray for the turmoil unfolding around the world, as many of our partners are being affected.

  • Pray for all children to know Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives.

Ministry Goal

“And their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.” - Luke 24:31

We founded Going Global Inc. in 2007 with this ministry goal. It remains our heart today. Thank you for praying and partnering with us. Together, we can achieve much!
