Hi Everyone!
It’s difficult to believe that we have been dealing with lockdowns, sickness, food shortages, loss of jobs and income, closings, mask controversies, even deaths for over five months. However, as we look at it, we know one thing for sure—God is still God, and He alone can be trusted in all situations!
We receive updates regularly from those we partner with overseas. We are wiring funds constantly to help with food, medicine, clean water, and other needs. The following are brief updates from three locations.
Nepal
“We have been in lockdown already five months and now it is very strict and stressful. People can’t come outside their home and many people have lost their job or business because of this pandemic. We prepare food at night and distribute in the day where possible. Many people are waiting for our food everyday. Our team is continuing to give our best to reach them, help them to survive, and share the love of Christ. Thanks for your prayers and support for what we are doing.” Pastor Paul, Nepal
West Bank - Israel
“Here things are starting to open with limitations. We are meeting in small groups in the church—now 20 people. Last week we were allowed to meet with only 10. One Sunday we went outside to a park to meet, and this week we willgoto Jericho. We pray that God protects us. We did two small outreaches to the Garden Tomb with groups of 20 Muslims each time.
In Beit Sahour we have not met for several weeks now because there are lots of virus cases. However, we are visiting people with needs in their homes and we are taking food with us. The need is really big now!” Pastor Mazen,West Bank, Israel
Andaman Islands
“All our kids at the Love Children’s Home are keeping in good health. Sad to say the corona situation is very bad and becoming worse in the islands. Thousands of people have been affected. There is much fear and panic among people as well as with the medical departments. Only our Lord Jesus can save the islands now.
Pastor Raja was very sick for the last two weeks. He had fever, body pain and cough. So, he has isolated himself. By Father’s grace he is now feeling better. He has recovered from fever and body pain but still he is tired. Requesting your prayers for his complete healing.
Sources say that in two months from now kids’ school will reopen. Back-to-school is the most expensive month for us. With over a hundred children, we need your prayers for school supplies, tuition fees, uniforms, notebooks, textbooks, and more.
We have some kids who passed higher secondary education classes and now need togofor their college education. We can send six kids. Previously, we have sent three kids to mainland India who are doing well with their studies. It’s a blessing and miracle to send six more orphans for further education. We request your prayers for financial help to send them.
We also need prayers for every child at the Love Children’s Home that God will protect them from this Covid-19. The situation looks very fearful all around us, but I believe God is in control. He will protect us with His righteous right hand.
Thank you, dear friends, for your prayers and support for our ministries all through these years. May the Almighty God bless you for being a part of this ministry.” Sheba,Andaman Islands
Food For Thought
“My words will not pass away.” Luke 21:33
Jesus said that He will return after His death and resurrection. We must take Him at His word. The totality of His words--His teaching while on earth--is also permanent, and we must receive them as the Word of God
Prayer Requests
You can be an important part of our ministry by praying for us. Prayer is a weapon of warfare, and we covet your prayers. If you would like us to pray for you, e-mail your prayer requests to us. Please pray for the following:
Pray for our government leaders.
Pray for provision and protection for those we serve.
Pray for our family, in particular our 15-year old granddaughter, Nevada, who has cancer.
Pray for your pastors.
Pray for Christians in the USA to strengthen their faith.
Pray for the coronavirus to cease.
It is a joy for us to share with you each month what the Lord is doing because of your prayers and financial support. You are making a difference in the lives of so many with great needs right now!
Grateful for you,
Dennis and Robin Nonnemacher
