Hope for the hopeless

Pastor Regina Naya

“Discipleship is the way to grow people. It can never happen en-masse, not in large groups.” Pastor Regina Naya

Hope for the hopeless and life to the lifeless — that is Pastor Regina Naya's battle cry. For over 30 years she has planted and pastored churches, supported widows, served the under resourced, raised a family, started a high school and mobilized youth for missions. She is a Mother of Africa, committed warrior for Christ and a beloved godly influencer in Kenya and beyond.

Just in these last two years and even today while the world and Kenya battles Covid-19, lived through lockdowns and resource shortages, Regina and her church have been on the front lines serving those in need, spiritually beaten and discouraged. Hardships that will never make the news. The Holy Spirit had angels on the ground with the life-giving gospel message and tangible help from the Church.

Regina stands with the widows who face great opposition. This last month she led a mission team to western Kenya to spiritually battle the evil that many widows face in losing their land and livelihood in the midst of their grief. We praise God that strongholds were broken and the community leaders are showing signs of standing with this widow. Several widows have started home churches and prayer centers in their living rooms. Praise God!

Regina with some young leaders

Our Going Global team has partnered with Regina and Christ Covenant Church (CCC) for over 15 years. We have seen the hand of God bring hope to the people surrounding CCC. They have hosted several mission serving teams and provided amazing opportunities to join the local teams in reaching their regional communities.

Pastor Regina’s influence and ministry has reached the USA and Cameroon. Her missional and mobilizing agenda is even bigger than where her feet have gone. She wants to take the gospel from everywhere to everywhere.

Jesus Christ has changed the eternity of students, families, widows and community leaders through the ministry of Regina and CCC.

Thank you for standing with us so we can stand with Regina. We will continue to see the move of God's kingdom through this partnership.

Ministry Update

You probably have noticed that we changed the format of the newsletter. Our plan is to present a variety of articles from various leaders within Going Global Inc. We are grateful to be able to send our newsletter to you each month. We are celebrating 20 years of partnering with indigenous leaders, like Regina, who care for orphans, widows, and pastors in remote areas. You are making a difference in the lives of so many by your prayers and financial support. Thank you! Dennis and Robin

Bangladesh

We have the honor to support and encourage Sukhen and Generation Bangladesh. They do some amazing things. Here’s what your generosity will accomplish in 2022:

  1. 6 kids camps that will reach 300 kids.

  2. 6 children’s leaders’ camps that will train 180 children’s leaders.

  3. 10,000 children graduating from the evangelistic correspondence course, many will accept Jesus.

  4. 2 youth leaders’ seminars to train 60 youth leaders.

  5. 3 trainings on trauma and attachment for 90 children’s workers.

  6. 42,000 kids receiving the love of Christ through Operation Christmas Child.

  7. 3 family homes for orphans that provide holistic ministry for 18 orphans.

  8. Rescue 360 girls from human trafficking and empowering their lives.

Israel

Online church in America has become an important part of discipleship and evangelism. This trend is happening all over the world. We love to come alongside leaders and help them accomplish what God’s put on their heart. Mazen is a pastor that you help support in Israel. He pastors a dynamic church in the old city and is reaching many in the West Bank. You made it possible to equip his church with audio and video equipment to create a great online presence.

Food For Thought

“God is greater than our feelings.” 1 John 3:20

The Message Bible says that God is greater than our worried hearts. Either translation works for me! At times we must set our feelings aside and trust God in whatever we are going through at the moment.

Prayer Requests

You can be an important part of our ministry by praying for us. Prayer is a weapon of warfare, and we covet your prayers. If you would like us to pray for you, e-mail your prayer requests to us. Please pray for the following:

  • Your pastors & their families.

  • Our participation in a global leadership project for some young leaders in Going Global Inc.

  • Wisdom for travel plans.

Ministry Goal

“And their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.” Luke 24:31
