Vietnam Church Growth

What a privilege it is to serve our brothers and sisters in other nations! Christians in the USA are blessed, though life is not without problems. Christians living in Vietnam are also blessed and yet life is not without problems for them either. Constant harassment from the government, ridicule from neighbors, and persecution as a religious group and people group…sound familiar? Though we face similar issues, we have the opportunity to help!

Pastor Chot is a minority tribal person in the Central Highland region of Vietnam. He has done the best he can to build a Church, and the Church is growing. The people are on fire! They are so poor compared to our standards in the USA, but they give to their neighbors in need and love fiercely. As hosts, they feed their guests as if were Thanksgiving. It would appear by the abundance of food at the meal that they have it all. My wife, Hang, has visited these people and their church locations numerous times and speaks very highly of their love for God, love for their neighbors, love for their community, and their love for children. She longs to go back to be with them and help them in any way she can. The Church is growing, but the building, however, is falling down.

The building was put together years ago in an attempt to finally assemble in one place. Though they have outgrown the building, they have continued to meet there. People fill up the interior and others gather outside and along the outer perimeter of the building in order to be a part of what God is doing in the moment as they gather together. There is no stopping God in this community!

We are inviting you to join us as we work together to rebuild their church building. As always, 100% of designated donations will go directly to the mission field.

Mission Thoughts

From the beginning Going Global Inc. has followed the call that God placed on our ministry to serve orphans, widows, and pastors in remote areas. That is still our focus today, and we are honored to partner with you on this as it is close to God’s heart.

I love the story about the prayer outreach in the Andaman Islands, it demonstrates perfectly Hebrews 4:16, which says we have direct and confident access to mercy and grace! It doesn’t matter what our past is or what our current circumstances are—because of Jesus, we now have confidence to approach the throne of grace!

Belize Tiny Home Project

Inside a completed Tiny Home

"Watching our Laugh Out Loud (LOL) children grow up and transform into young adults changed things for us. We soon realized that merely letting them "age out," was not an option for us. God purposed for these lives to be grafted into ours for the long haul, which includes the critical transition from adolescence to adulthood in their own home.” - LOL Ministry

On the day of the launch, LOL hosted a worship night to dedicate each home to God. It is through God's love and provision that we were able to complete three tiny homes. We want to thank everyone who gave in any way, whether it be through prayers, finances, or hands-on work—THANK YOU!

Andaman Islands

Youth prayer conference

Raja and Sheeba held a prayer outreach where they gathered youth to pray for salvation for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They printed a map and prayed over each island by name.

During this event, many of the youth felt a call to give their lives to service in the Kingdom of God. The presence of God was strong during this time of prayer as they called out to God for salvation.

Food For Thought

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Rom 8:1

Don’t hang on to old sin, shame, guilt. Disown it now! If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, there is none of that in any of God's record books. Get it out of your heart now! You have been set free.
